Who we are

Local roots. Rights-based development.

Formed in 2003, Ghazwa Development Organization (GDO) emerged from collaboration among social and development actors in Dera Ghazi Khan. Its purpose is to advocate for basic human rights and support marginalized communities, including people affected by disasters, violence and other vulnerabilities.

GDO promotes social mobilization so communities can identify priorities, access services and take part in decisions that affect their lives.
